Inside Vista Loader Crack
Why Vista Loader is invisible
I have the latest Vista Loader 2.1.3 (AKA Windows Vista Activator 2008) in my lab. It is supposed to be invulnerable to Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and KB940510. Besides, it makes no boot string flash. I suspect it is exactly the same core element as the VistaLoader v3.0.0.1 by Dasumo. Let's hack the hack and see what is inside this program, and what makes it invisible. My review is here
Don't trust your AV. No security program is the best
I've found a helpful link to online virus scanner virusscan.jotti.org which will let you scan any file with 20 antivirus engines at once. The listed providers are: A-Squared, AntiVir, ArcaVir, Avast, AVG Antivirus, BitDefender, ClamAV, CPsecure, Dr.Web, F-Prot Antivirus, F-Secure Anti-Virus, Fortinet, Ikarus, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, NOD32, Norman Virus Control, Panda Antivirus, Sophos Antivirus, VirusBuster, VBA32. So with few viruses from the internet and "an advanced Win32 executable file compressor" ASPack I decided to test them myself...

AVG Internet Security 8.0 — Tough on design
AVG Security 8 is made by Czech company AVG Technologies (formerly Grisoft) and become very popular in recent years. [Czech roots are not mentioned in the company profile, which is a shame] There are few reasons for that popularity: free version of Antivirus is available, good support for Windows Vista from the early days, decent results in tests.
Microsoft + Piracy = MS Domination. (Vista SP1 Afterlife)
I updated my article on Windows Vista cracks overview to reflect basically one thing: Microsoft did nothing to prevent Windows Vista piracy. See the section 5 about Vista Loader crack.
Shall I repeat this? Microsoft is just playing the game when it is "fighting" Vista piracy, in reality it is just another way to promote self domination, because if Windows Vista is free, no one in Russia or China will install Linux. More to read here
Is it me or is it Memorex? Memorex duality.
I recently bought a cake-box of Memorex 8x Double Layer DVD+R disks. I was mostly attracted by the price (~30 USD) and my positive previous experience with recordable media from Memorex, but this time it did not fly.
It simply refused to burn in my Samsung SH-S203N with standard speed 2.4x.
New Version of Avast! Antivirus — 4.8 has arrived with new Antispyware and Antirootkit tools
Alwil Software has been released new version of Avast! 4.8 antivirus.
avast! 4 Professional now includes new stuff except antivirus: ANTI-SPYWARE protection, certified by the West Coast Labs Checkmark process & ANTI-ROOTKIT DETECTION based on the best-in class GMER technology, built in to the scan engine. Read more here.

I especially recommend Avast! in its free for non-commercial use edition: Home Edition with some really minor exclusions from Professional one such as Script Blocker. See all the differences here.
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 build 6001.18000 is available
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 has arrived. Most people will be able to download it via Windows Update as of mid of March, but for the rest who do not want to wait there are two options.
One option is to use a registry workaround and force Windows Update to show your service pack 1 now. The method is well described on the website www.mydigitallife.info, just search the recent posts. The only disadvantage of that is a little uncertainty, that Service Pack is actually the latest-latest when received in this way.
The second option is to download the whole thing from the internet. READ MORE
